Destructive and Constructive Forces at Work
Today's Daily Fun is Where in the World is Mrs. Astin? The picture below is from one of Mrs. Astin's crazy adventures. It was one of the Ancestral Puebloan structures created at some point during the past 700 years. What is really, really cool, is that the Sandstone Structures were partially created through weathering and erosion that began millions of years ago. The holes in the cliffs known as alcoves were created through water getting trapped in the sandstone, freezing, and them cracking away. See if you can figure out where Mrs. Astin traveled.
